Ja, eigentlich wollte ich warten, bis heute Abend beim MTV Unplugged die komplette Version zu sehen ist, aber ich kann einfach nicht. Das ist Pop-Heaven-Realness hoch Tausend: Miley Cyrus covert „Gimme More“ von Britney Spears!

Während des MTV Unplugged Specials, das heute (16. Okt. 2020) Premiere feiern wird, wird die 27-Jährige auch einen Song der Band Pearl Jam performen. Von Pearl Jam stammt auch „Jeremy“, der mich zu meiner aktuelle Initiative „Jeremy“ inspiriert hat (Hier lesen). Als das Special Anfang Oktober zum ersten Mal angekündigt wurde, teilte Miley Cyrus die Neuigkeiten auf Twitter mit ihren Fans.

Anfang des Jahres hat MTV die klassische MTV Unplugged-Serie, die im vergangenen November 30 Jahre alt wurde, neu interpretiert und MTV Unplugged At Home daraus gemacht. Es wurde mit dem Start der „Alone Together“-Kampagne ins Leben gerufen. Die Kampagne klärt junge Menschen über Social Distancing auf, um die Übertragung des Coronavirus zu verringern.

Sobald die „Gimme More“-Version von Miley Cyrus in voller Länge da ist, werde ich sie hier posten. Bis dahin bleiben uns allen erstmal nur die Teaser und die Vorfreude. / Berry
