„Spice Girls“-Tour startet mit mega Show und Soundpanne!

Als vier von insgesamt fünf Spice Girls eine Tour für 2019 angekündigt haben, entstand eine ähnliche Hysterie, wie in den 90ern. Die Tickets waren innerhalb von Minuten ausverkauft. Nun fand das Auftakt-Konzert der Tour in Dublin, mit einer großen Show und Probleme beim Sound, statt.

„So, tell me what you want, what you really really want?“ Na, am besten Sound. Denn die Spice Girls hatten am Freitagabend im Croke-Park-Stadion im irischen Dublin mit dem Sound zu kämpfen. Laut Twitter war der Sound beim Auftritt von Jess Glynne als Vorband noch mehr als gut gewesen, doch als dann die Spice Girls auf die Bühne kamen, gab es wohl große Probleme.

Das mit 60.000 Fans ausverkaufte Stadion soll laut Fan-Bericht auf Twitter nur im vorderen Teil direkt in Bühnennähe Sound gehabt haben. So soll man auf den hinteren Plätzen teilweise nicht mehr raushören können, welcher Song grade läuft. Andere Fans hingegen berichten, dass der Sound hörbar, aber furchtbar war. Einige User schreiben: „Der Sound ist Schrott“, „Hier bleiben Fans verwirrt sitzen, weil sie nicht wissen, welcher Song da gerade läuft“ oder „Schlechtester Sound, den ich je im Stadion gehört habe“.

Mel B meldete sich mittlerweile zu Wort und versprach, dass der Sound bei der nächsten Show besser sein wird. Das kann man nur hoffen, denn viele Fans sollen während der Konzertes das Stadion sogar fassungslos verlassen haben.

Kommen wir aber nun zur Show. Die Spice Girls geben den Fans auf ihrer „Mini“-Tour, was sie wollen. Die mit nur 13 Shows in Großbritannien geplante Tour, fährt für die wenige Anzahl an Shows enorm auf. Eine große Bühne im futuristischem Design, mit viel visueller Fläche, tollen Hintergrund Animationen und tollen Outfits. Wie Superhelden betreten die Spice Girls die Bühne zu dem Schlachtruf: „We welcome all ages, all races, all gender identifies, all countries of origin, all sexual orientations, all religions and beliefs, all abilities.”

Auch die Setlist gibt den Fans, was sie wollen. Neben den großen Hits wie „Mama“, „Spice Up Your Life“, „Say You’ll Be There“, „2 Become 1“ und „Stop“, gibt es viele Songs, die keine Singles waren, so wie das ein oder andere Cover. Großes Highlight ist das Finale mit Mel B, Geri Horner, Mel C und Emma Bunton gemeinsam in den original Outfit-Looks aus dem Video zu „Wannabe“.
