Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo und Derek Hough konnten nicht so ganz begreifen, was sie da sahen. Zwei Männer legten einen sexy Salsa-Paartanz hin und zeigten, das klassische Tanzrollen überflüssig sind.

In Großbritannien gibt es derzeitig eine Diskussion darüber, ob die beliebte Tanzshow „Strictly Come Dancing“ gleichgeschlechtliche Paare zulassen soll. Die US-Tanzshow „World of Dance“ ist da schon einen Schritt weiter. Zumindest seit dem Auftritt von „Jonathan y Jorge“ am Dienstag (26.02.19). In der ersten Sendung, der mittlerweile dritten Staffel von „World of Dance“ auf NBC, staunten Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo und Derek Hough nicht schlecht, als „Jonathan y Jorge“ ihren heißen Paartanz zu J-Lo’s „El Anillo“ hinlegten.

Traditionelle Tanzrollen sind überflüssig!

Derek Hough sprach dann genau das an, was so besonders an diesem Tanz war: „Was so toll daran ist – ich weiß nicht, ob die Menschen das wissen – in der Tanzwelt sagen wir nicht mehr „männlicher Part“ und „weiblicher Part“. Wir nennen es der „Follower“ und der „Leader“. Und das genau aus diesem Grund, weil es egal ist“. Tatsächlich wird ein traditioneller Salsa zwischen Mann und Frau in den jeweiligen Rollen getanzt.
