Die Rubrik „Carpool Karaoke“ in James Cordens „The Late Late Show“ hat ihn weltweit berühmt gemacht und es gibt kaum einen Star, der nicht gerne auf den berühmtesten Beifahrersitz der Welt Platz nehmen will. Wobei ich immer noch auf Beyoncé und Rihanna warte! Nun gibt es eine spezielle Weihnachtsausgabe mit Mariah Carey und vielen Stars, die dieses Jahr dabei waren.
Im Clip ist Mariah, die damit schon zum zweiten Mal dabei ist, im Auto neben James Corden zu sehen. Doch sie sings ihren Weihnachts-Überhit „All I Want For Christmas“ nicht allein. Anscheinend haben die Macher der Sendung bei fast jedem Carpool Karaoke in diesem Jahr (Selbst bei Adele, die ja schon im Januar da war) schonmal den Song von Mariah gesungen, um am Ende des Jahres eben diesen Clip zusammen zu schneiden. Neben Lady Gaga, Adele, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez u.v.m. fehlen aber so einige Stars. Ob Britney, JLo oder Madonna keine Lust auf den Mariah Song hatten oder ihn einfach nicht singen können? Ganz ohne ist der Ohrwurm ja auch nicht.
