Die Sängerin, die erst letzte Woche mit ihrem Titanic Tribute bei den Billboard Music Awards für Aufsehen sorgte, eröffnete ihre Las Vegas Show am Dienstag (einen Tag nach dem Anschlag) mit einer bewegenden Rede und Geste. So forderte sie alle Gäste auf, die Hand vom Sitznachbarn zu nehmen und die Arme gemeinsam in die Luft zu strecken, um an die Opfer, Verletzten und deren Familien zu denken: „Lasst uns aufstehen für Manchester und zeigen, dass es uns kümmert“.
